The Final Report of the pilot program

Over the course of six months, Pellital financed six entrepreneurial women to start a variety of businesses: sewing, hairdressing, the sale of fish, vegetables, curds and female articles. At the conclusion of our pilot program, we interviewed each woman (except Maty Thioye, the vegetable vendor, who was absent due to travel), to evaluate the impact of the microfinance loan. The report includes:

- A summary of their financial repayment and the qualitative impacts on their lives,

- Conclusions and important decisions made by Pellital,

- Words from our lenders and partners,

- And a cash flow statement of the pilot program.

The report is available in english as well as in french. To access it, go to 'Our Database' and then click on the directory 'Pellital reports'.

We thank everyone who contributed to the success of our pilot program.

Pellital congrats warmly Ms. Julia Kurnia, (a US based volunteer who contributed a lot in making Pellital a reality for the Agnam-Goly village) who got happily married this summer.
